Also you use of pointless numbered lists that I'm parroting also backs this up. Your post is perfect r/iamverysmart material, and your defensiveness backs that up.

Just because you have verbal diarrhea doesn't mean everyone else has to waste time pontificating to amuse you, but apparently that's the only method of communication you accept so I guess I have to waste time write three paragraphs to make the same point I made with a simple subreddit link.

Both of these approaches to the medium make for good comedy, but they're very different and that's what separates a show like Steam Train from Game Grumps prime. Dan and Arin are sometimes good at games, but most of the time one or both of them is god fucking awful at the game, and it makes for good comedy.

But Arin is the kind of guy to make a stupid pun and then fart his way into a fit of laughter. Brian is very monotone, he acts all r/iamverysmart and constantly references his PhD, and that's funny. But there are different styles of comedy. It's just something you learn to do through practice and experience, which those boys have had a lot of. Arin and Dan don't need to have PhDs to be good at it, because comedy isn't something you have to learn in school.
